  • The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) offers local support groups throughout the United States as well as online support groups.  

  • Rogers Behavioral Health

  • Wisconsin Family Ties, advocacy partner of NAMI Wisconsin. Organization run by and for families that include children and adolescents with social, emotional or behavioral challenges. WFTs helps parents/caregivers navigate their children’s care and staffs Parent Peer Specialists. 608-267-6888 

  • Children and Youth Committee of the Wisconsin Council on Mental Health. This subcommittee of the Council makes recommendations to the Governor and legislature on policy issues and block grant funding surrounding youth mental health. Consider joining or attending a meeting as a guest to see what the committee is about or provide public comment.   

  • Kids Forward, partner of NAMI Wisconsin.  The mission of Kids Forward is to make Wisconsin a place where every child thrives by advocating for effective, long-lasting solutions that break down barriers to success for children and families. 

Apps And Interactive Tech: 

  • Calm: App for sleep, meditation and relaxation.

  • Headspace: Headspace is a meditation app available for iOS and Android that’s great for beginners.   

  • SanvelloApp for therapy, coaching, self-care, and community.

  • Ripples: Weekly inspirational e-mails.  

  • Talkspace: Online therapy.

  • Beacon 2.0: Beacon is a portal to online applications (websites, mobile applications and internet support groups) for mental disorders reviewed and rated by health experts. 

  • Mindfulness for Teens: This website has recommendations for apps to practice meditation and guided mediation recordings.  

  • Mood 247: A text messaging system that provides an easy way to record how you’re feeling and tracks your daily moods to share with friends, family, or a health professional.
