Wisconsin Family Ties, advocacy partner of NAMI Wisconsin. Organization run by and for families that include children and adolescents with social, emotional or behavioral challenges. WFTs helps parents/caregivers navigate their children’s care and staffs Parent Peer Specialists. 608-267-6888
Children and Youth Committee of the Wisconsin Council on Mental Health. This subcommittee of the Council makes recommendations to the Governor and legislature on policy issues and block grant funding surrounding youth mental health. Consider joining or attending a meeting as a guest to see what the committee is about or provide public comment.

QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer)– A free training offered in the community that offers information on how to identify signs of suicidal ideation, how to intervene and make appropriate referrals to treatment.
